Starting building your fine art portfolio.
Shoot alongside Emily Hancock FBIPP and Hannah Freeland ABIPP and learn how they work to create beautiful fine art equine images.
This course will give you the tools to create your own creative ideas and the confidence set up your very own fine art shoots.

COURSE BREAKDOWN
WHO’S PERFECT FOR THIS COURSE?
This course is for anyone who wants to be creative, experiment and go wild!
Whether you’re an established photographer with their own business or just want the chance to be creative, take the opportunity to shoot alongside two of the UK’s leading equine photographers and learn something new.
There are no rules on this course (well….): this is your opportunity to discover what inspires you, the kind of images you’d like to produce and where you’d like your photography to take you.
What to expect…
You’ll join Emily and Hannah for 2 full days at the Barn and leave with the knowledge and confidence to set up a creative shoot from start to finish, plus a bank of beautiful images to use in your portfolio.
There will be two guided photoshoots with equine models provided, plus in-studio sessions showing you how to take a creative project from start to finish.
We also leave plenty of time for questions and answers.

Get inspired
Do you sometimes struggle to get inspired? You don’t have to let creative blocks stop you from producing incredible photos! We’ll share our secrets for designing amazing storyboards that will give your photos the extra dynamic you’re looking for.
Experiment & Create
Take your pictures to the next level! Explore the many different ways you can manipulate your camera’s settings to capture stunning images – we’ll try alternative angles, play with different shutter speeds, and explore shooting styles.
Perfecting the shot
Learn how to elevate your images through editing, including a live session in the studio using Lightroom and Photoshop.
creating a collection
Bring your photographic dreams and ideas to life and learn how to craft a stunning fine art collection of your own.
2 photoshoots
We will run two guided fine-art equine photoshoots on location, complete with beautiful equine models.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ON THIS COURSE?
- There are no rules on what kit you need to bring on this course – we are being creative so feel free to bring different lenses and cameras to experiment with.
- Pack plenty of spare cards and batteries for the two days
- Laptop, external hard drive, card reader and editing software
- Walking boots/wellies and outdoor clothing
- Notepad and pen
- Plenty of yummy refreshments and our legendary lunches will be provided on both days, but you may wish to bring a drink bottle/thermos
