Mark was one of the chosen models for the 3 day Business of Equine Photography training course held at the EHP Training Barn in may. We photographed Mark and his 4 polo ponies on Wilverley Plain, not too far from the picturesque market town of Lymington in the New Forest.
The vast expanse of flat forest plains made it easy to experience and capture what Mark and his horses were capable of doing, including lots of ridiculously speedy gallops! We were so impressed at the ability of the ponies to turn on a sixpence, and the bond between horse and rider was clearly key to enabling these maneuvers.
There were 5 delegates all keen to learn the ins and outs of photographing horses and their owners. Mark did a wonderful job. He looked the part and definitely gave the trainees a run for their money when learning to take action shots!!
